Good To Be Home!

Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude following Melodic Caring Project’s 3rd Annual Hometown Fundraiser, held at the beautiful Wisteria Gardens in Anacortes. What an unforgettable evening it was!

Hosted by Anacortes City Councilman and former Mickey Mouse Club star TJ Fantini, the event brought together friends, supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and families from across Skagit Valley to celebrate the power of music, community, and hope.

Good To Be Home!

This month The Melodic Caring Project held our first fundraising event right here in our beautiful Skagit Valley. It felt incredible to gather friends, family and our local community to celebrate our Mount Vernon roots.

Guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour, complimentary beer and wine courtesy of Columbia Distributing, and an incredible charcuterie grazing table before settling in for a spectacular farm-to-table dining experience prepared by our friends at The Skagit Table. Throughout the evening, live music filled the venue as Melodic Caring Project Founder Levi Ware performed alongside several special guests including a very special performance with rockSTAR Zach.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, together we RAISED A RECORD-BREAKING $38,575 to support our mission of bringing hope, connection, and the healing power of music to children and families facing serious illness.

The night featured surprise performances from Gina Miles, winner of NBC’s The Voice in 2023, Miss Washington’s Amber Pike, a duet from Melodic Caring Project Founders Levi and Stephanie Ware and a very special performance by rockSTAR Zach performing his original song co-written and recorded with Levi Ware.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was hearing from our rockSTAR families. We were honored to celebrate Zach’s strength, resilience, and spark-plug personality, while also welcoming Luca and Caia to share how Melodic Caring Project has become more than a program—it has become family.

Gathering community to surround our rockSTAR families with love and support is what Melodic Caring Project is all about. Seeing so many people come together in the birthplace of our mission reminds us how powerful a caring community can be.

To every attendee, sponsor, donor, volunteer, performer, and supporter–THANK YOU. Your generosity ensures that more families battling illness will receive personalized support, meaningful connections with artists, and moments of joy during some of life’s most difficult challenges.

Together, we are proving that music heals, hope matters, and no family should face illness alone.

Thank you for helping make our 3rd Annual Hometown Fundraiser our most successful event yet. We can’t wait to see what we accomplish together next year!

“ MCP has had a huge impact not only on Zach’s life, but on mine and our entire family’s as well. It has lifted us up during the hardest times and brought music back into our home. The caring, prayers and true connections have not only been a blessing to us all, MCP has truly become a part of our family.”

~ Kim, rockSTAR Zach’s Mom

Our hometown event was inspired by four amazing students, Grace, Emerson, Kayla and Ruthie, who chose MCP to be the charitable beneficiary of their Junior class “Shalom” project in 2024.

It’s with immense gratitude that we recognized Grace this year for all of her and her family’s continued support giving back to our mission and supporting our rockSTARS and their families.
