This month the Melodic Caring Project held our second ever rockSTAR Ball event in Seattle at Derby and The Shop – a night of connection, cars, food and drinks with music featuring DJ Marco Collins. It felt incredible to gather as a community to just have fun and celebrate our mission with a Halloween-themed party for a cause at one of Seattle’s coolest venues!

What a PARTY! Thank you to everyone who joined us on October 18th at Derby Seattle and The Shop to support our mission of bringing hope and the power of music to kids and families in hospitals.

Our Halloween-themed party was a blast, with guests rocking their best costumes—special shoutout to Chris Cashman for his incognito look and our Costume Contest Winner, Dan Moulton, absolutely nailing Freddie Mercury!

It was so fun to see our Board of Directors and supporters fully embrace the “dress like a rockSTAR” theme – wigs, tattoo sleeves, Intergalactic Beastie Boys, Country Music Stars and all!

The evening was filled with amazing music from Seattle legend DJ Marco Collins, alongside whiskey and cigars in Derby’s hidden lounge, thanks to Kirsten Pipe Co.

Our guests enjoyed a special private behind-the-scenes tour of The Shop’s world-class car collection, delicious catering from Blue Ribbon Cooking and drinks courtesy of our friends and sponsors at Stoup Brewing and Fortuity Cellars.

We wrapped up the night with some unforgettable karaoke. Shoutouts to Elise Brueske, Lacey Webber and Wanz (Macklemore’s Thrift Shop) for the mic-drop moments of the night!

Thanks to DJ Marco Collins, Blue Ribbon Cooking, Derby Seattle, The Shop, Stoup Brewing, Fortuity Cellars and to our entire Board of Directors for making this event possible 🫶 The energy and support from everyone made it a truly memorable night. Here’s to more events that bring us together while making a positive impact!
